We are pleased to present this week our List #10, Rev #1 dated May 14, 2011, of prospective Brides and Grooms living in the Northeastern States of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont ~ this List is by no means comprehensive of all of the brides and grooms living in the NE but those that have come under our "radar screen" ~ as new registrants come aboard, we will include their profiles with our next update.
I appeal to each Parent that when you come to us seeking a parental contact information from our Initiative, that you bring us at least one introduction to a parent of a bride or groom that you know of ~ an alliance for your son or daughter that came to you from "other sources" but did not pan out for you for whatever reason!

"One observation I have found if I may point out ~ In the last year or so, I spoke with three or four girls (Indo-American, Tamil Brahmin) who married American (white) boys. When I asked them why they chose an American boy, uniformly (I was surprised) the answer was: "Indian boys do not want to marry dark skinned girls. They just want to talk and then don't respond. If I waited to marry an Indian boy, I may never be married!" I was sad to hear that. Any way, I wanted to get it off my chest", to which I responded:

Don't give up hope ~ you have a big responsibility towards your daughter in helping her find the right alliance! and celebrating her happy marriage. You are not alone with your frustrations as a bridal parent, as I hear the same story from several dozens, if not scores, every month. Hang in there and when the right time comes along, she will bring her "sweetheart" home! We will help you as much as we can through our Initiative!
