At the urging of many parents, we are very pleased to e-broadcast this week-end our List #18 ~ Showcasing the prospective PhD Brides and Bridegrooms registered with our Initiative! 60 brides and 54 bridegrooms in all, seeking Matrimony through Globalmatri.Org. ~ The List includes those who have graduated with a PhD degree, and many others who are still studying. Our List includes about a dozen "Distinguished Bridegroom Professors" who have graduated with a PhD degree and have chosen the teaching field serving at various leading and reputed Universities in the U.S. Compared to this, there is ONLY one bride in Midwest ~ in Indiana, in our Initiative, who has chosen the teaching profession and is serving as an Assistant Professor, teaching! Our Initiative is indeed proud of all of these prospective PhD brides and grooms, and we wish them "SeeghrmEva vivAhaprAptirastu (शीघ्रमेव विवाहप्राप्तिरस्तु)" This is not an exhaustive List of PhD brides and grooms seeking matrimony throughout the U.S. or Canada but of those who are registered with our Initiative, seeking matrimony ~ if your ward is NOT included in our List, please take a moment to complete the Registration Form (included below) and email it back to us! WE ASK THOSE PARENTS, WHO HAVE WARDS, INTERESTED IN THIS LIST, TO SEND IN THEIR REQUESTS TO OUR INITIATIVE ~ AND WE WILL BE HAPPY TO SHARE THE LIST WITH THEM
Our Lists are beginning to focus very sharply and clearly on the specific "needs and wants" of the brides and grooms, on so many facets such as being a strict veggie, "non-drinker", "non-smoker", we want ONLY Iyengars, we want ONLY Iyers, the groom must be open and flexible to returning to India (yet applying for GC and U.S.citizenship) and so on ~ so you don't waste time seeking to connect! or find your solicitations have remained "unanswered"!
Also we asked a specific question to many of the brides and grooms registered in our Initiative, if non-U.S. citizens, and on different work-other visas, if they will consider accepting U.S., citizens, in matrimony ~ some have answered in affirmative "yes" to this question, others have said a "definite" NO. Their answers are reflected in their respective profiles, wherever such choices were clearly expressed, in their updated questionnaire submitted.
As I wrote in another Newsletter on "U.S. H1B and Other Visas" a few weeks ago, getting a PhD degree is a guaranteed "gateway" to quickly getting a Green Card under an "expedited" GC processing by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in which the applications are processed under an "EAD1" preference ~ usually taking 12~15 months to get the GC in their hands, subject of course to the applicants satisfying "other conditions"! The nice thing about this program though is that those filing under EAD1 under this "expedited" process can also include their spouses who are on other visa status such as F1, H1B, H1B~GC, brides from India, and they get "two green cards for the price of one"! if included in the Petition at the time of filing! For this reason, you will notice that most of the PhDs on our List have not still exercised their option to file for GC ~ waiting to get married and "then file" including their spouses, with their applications, keeping their options open!
We will be vacationing in Summit, New Jersey, at our daughter's place beginning next week-end, July 16, 2011, until probably well into the Labor Day week end! ~ so those of you calling me from India or California or U.K. or Singapore, please take notice of our new time zone! Our Lists now span 97% of the Continental United States coast-to-coast ~ from Portland, Maine to Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay area on the West Coast and from Miami, Florida to Seattle, Washington. These are listed according to Each State in USA and grouped into Zones and also lists from other nations. The ONLY states our radar screen has not picked up are North and South Dakotas, Wyoming, Kentucky, Alaska and Hawaii. Our coverage even extends to Canada, U.K., Europe, Far East (Singapore, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand) and Middle East, thanks to the excellent support and excellent coverage from my colleague, R. Recognizing that most brides and grooms cannot quickly relocate in these hard economic times, because all of them may have jobs, and/or are stuck in different kinds of work visas, we have given attention to preparing Lists that are regionalized ~ so prospective brides and grooms can get connected, if they are in the same region or territory. If your son or daughter can relocate to other regions per our list, you can pursue opportunities from other regions as well! Also respecting the wishes of American Citizen Parents of brides and grooms, we have restricted requests from Non-Citizens seeking Parental Contact Information on Brides and Grooms who are U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders.
